Well excuse me for using the suggestion forum. All I thought was basically that there was no problem with the original layout, so why change it? I mean I\'m not gonna start a petition against the new one, I just was wondering why the change?

Your automatically unappreciative and selfish. Therefore, whats the point of making a suggestion if everyone gets riled up about it?


I hold no grudge with anyone. But for you to come out and say something "blows" is inappropiate. You can make suggestions, that is exactly what the suggestion forum is for. It\'s not there to criticize someones time and effort. The only reason I said anything is because I don\'t feel some of you understand that it is a prevliege to have forums as nice as these and be able to post in them. And it takes alot of time to put new things in. And for you to come out and blantlantly say it  "blows" just isn\'t right.

Again this is my opinion and I\'m not wanting to fight with you or argue with you.  I think I have made my point, if you can\'t understand that\'s fine. The least you could do is say you missworded your post in suggestions. Cause in my mind I think you did just that.

My bottom line basically is that the forums are great and there\'s no need for any changes unless they are minor or an obvious upgrade (i.e. spoiler tags, glow, etc).

And of course I\'m gonna get on the tad of the defensive side when you refer to what I said as bitching and whining like a housewife PMSing. When I simply said that the new layout sucked, and that the original was perfect.

It\'s really not as big a deal that you blew it up to be. Everyone is appreciative and thankful for what mm does around here, perhaps saying "blows" is a bit crude, but honestly, I hated the new layout. And my suggestion was simply just to leave things as they were.

And now that I\'m repeating myself I\'ll stop there.

I see your point Vapor, and again no hard feelings. I may have blown it up to be a bigger issue than it was. And my first post wasn\'t directed straight to you. So maybe our dispute is settled, I hold no gruge against you or anyone else. I wanted to make my point and you wanted to make yours. I can live with that.

*sigh*  I guess mm was just trying to improve the forums even more, and I personally liked a lot of what he did.  I guess what I was trying to say is, have a little more tact.  And suggestions can be used well, and suggestions have been used before.  An example would be the Journals section.

Tried it on default setting and style_for_test and both exactly the same (no stars). They were there yesterday, but today they are all gone, weird huh?:(
