photoshop horror

Okay, so I have been using Photochop for about 3 years now, and I know the program pretty well.  But I have to take a photoshop class anyway.  Now, this is going to suck at first becaue its going to be moving at an incredibly slow rate.  This sucks asssssssssss

Jeeez,  What kind of job do you have where they make you take a Photoshop class?  In my company, their idea of required training is Excel or NetMeeting.  HOO BOY, now that\'s boring stuff.

Im not doing it for work, Im doing it for my degree.  But I do love photoshop.  I just want to actually learn something here.  But The more the teacher talks about her experience, the better I feel.  I might have to just do acouple projects on the side, but Thats the only way that I will learn anything here.  Its the stupid people in here that ruin it for everyone else.  Someone just asked what DPI was.

Are you reading the forums while you\'re in class?  LOL! man college is better than it was when I went to school.

You think thats bad? I know how to code webpages, and I\'m in an Internet Webpage class, half of them weigh over 300 pounds, and the other half are geeks.

i\'ve taken some computer literacy classes  I\'ve found those are the worlds easiest 4 units.  All I had to do was show up once a month, show that I knew what the Prof had taught during that month, and recieve my A.

I\'m in a computer application class. It\'s so gay. The teacher is a fat, weird, woman. I mean, wow, she has some retarded rules. She makes me take down notes on stuff i already know. I tell her i\'m not going to, so i get a 0% for the notes grade, then get an A on the test. Then i show her and she acts like it means nothing, and i should have still taken the notes. Dumb bitch. Right now we\'re doing typing lessons *yawn*, i showed her i can type 70 WPM and she still wants me to type the correct way (fingers on home row, blah). Oh well, it\'s an easy A.

Back then the web wasnt really doing anything on the consumer level though.  This was in 1989.

I remember a buddy of mine giving me an AOL version 1 disc back then cause that was what he was using to get online.  Which I had a grand to invest in them back then.

INstead of being negative about the situation..take advantage..cut as many classes as possible without auto-failing assuming you are in HS.

Just do the work when its due since you know it so well and pass the class.

hehe..... this reminds of the time when i was sent to a "ms office course". damn, it was so much fun i had to do some shit with excel, access and the rest ,u should\'ve seen the assignments they were giving us .
the classes were like 90minutes and this is how they went by~ firts 10 mins finished assignment > solitare > a bit of photoshop (this is the only reason i attended class, well that and the fact that i got paid to take it ) > sleep till class ends. lol.
so MPTheory, just enjoy this class have some fun  otherwise just do what luckee said.

yeah, thank God my college has a T1 connection.  I will be getting alot of web searching done.  One cool thing about the Proffessor is that she teaches alot of tricks every class (so she says)  So that might be cool.
