It\'s odd you actually bring this up Samwise, because I have a story from my California vacation that I arrived home from just a couple days from. You guys can either take it or leave it, but this actually happened.
I grew up watching, "Full House." It was my show. I remember I couldn\'t go to bed without watching it. I considered the Olsen twins like my childhood idols. I never really followed their careers or them with their shows or video games. I just remembered that I had watched all of the seasons of the show. I can remember my mother telling me how much I loved the show.
Ok, enough of the boring shiz. I had taken the Starline tour in Hollywood, which was a private tour (what I mean is like 15 people on a bus.) We would drive around Beverly Hills, Sunset Blvd, and through Hollywood.
What I didn\'t know was there was a stop on the tour for us to get out and walk around. The stopping place was Rodeo drive. For the slow ones or the people who don\'t know, Rodeo drive is a long strip of really expensive, top class shops that only the filthy rich as well as movie stars shop at. It had stores such as Porsche, Tiffy Co. and some other stuff.
Anyway, I remember I was standing at the curb looking around and stuff while my parents (we went to Cali for my parents 20th wedding anniversey) went to the bathroom.
I had glanced up and there were these group of people. What had caught my eye were these two girls, like I had known them from somewhere. They had like 5 guys around them, and they looked probably the most stylish I\'ve ever seen.
Well, about half way of them crossing the street and them coming near me, It had hit me like a fuken brick, and sure enough it was the Olsen twins, with their body guards. I was just in complete shock, but I had kept composure and I was being myself.
What had stunned me was that one of them smiled at me, then the other one too. I had the priviledge and honor in meeting them first hand, on Rodeo drive.
How un-expected was it of having to meet my childhood idols? How cool was it meeting them? It literally was probably one of the biggest highlights on my trip, and they were very friendly and warm to talk to. It was only about five minutes, but it really was just, awesome.
I am really distrubed of people stamping them as the next, "pr0n industry super stars of tomorrow." I mean, I certainly don\'t potray them as that. Can\'t excatly say I idolize them today either, but I do have my utter most respect for them.
