Who\'s your favorite artist, and favorite genre?

Mine is Salvador Dali, and surealism.  I\'ll post some examples later.

Seriously though, lol.. I\'m not really into art ,but  I took an art history class in high school, and I\'m taking one now, go figure.

Dali is a big favorite of mine as well as MC Escher. I have a few poster prints of theirs adorning our apt. walls.

:D wOOt ! I did artsacademy. My fav artist has to be Giorgo de
Chirico. Funny thing is, Sony used his art for inspiration for the
boxart of the PAL Ico game. I bet they came up with the name
Ico from Chir-ico ! :laughing:

My favorite artist is Dali as well.Lucky for me the only Dali art gallery in the U.S. is 15 min.from my house right here in downtown St.Petersburg.I\'ve probably been there over a dozen times and believe me no picture in a book can really bring out the detail of his paintings.Even after being there so many times I still see something in a painting tht I didn\'t see before.

ALbrecht Durrer was a german expressionist who used line drawings, and wood blocks.  here\'s a pic;
