Bah, the tiger guy sucked. To make matter worst, all the characters in the default selection in T4 are crummy..except for maybe Christie(just to oogle at her boobs) and that Chinese girl, forgot her name.
And i TOTALLY disagree about VF4 same as T4 in terms of character reaction animation. Try kicking someone from the back and u\'ll see how realistic is VF4 compared to T4 which seems to jump a few frames of animation quite frequently and the characters just look out of placed.
As for not able to pass stage 1,2,3...in T4..I really have no words but U SUCK. I don\'t mean to offend but I can just whip to the end without so much of a sweat but just using a few same tactics(more like non-tactic random smashing).
All the characters in VF4 are fairly distinguishble with their style and u need to exploit their strength and weakness to win. I could play this game for a few years and not bored with it.
The lei fang(the monk guy, was it Lei Fang? Can\'t remember) characters in VF4 is a joy to play and behold. there\'s no other game on the planet where u can don the Shaolin robe and fight like a real(well, almost) Shaolin monk! Period!
And after the sucky DC VF3 version(graphics and gameplaywise), VF4 on PS2 is sweet redemption!
Why does he suck? And why are u judging only by their default costumes?Howarang is cool in his TaeKwonDo suit.I dont see anything wrong with Lei or Kazuya or Law.Especially Law.I dont see much frame jumping in T4.It has been reduced a lot since TTT.Perhaps u dont give enough attention to the character reactions in T4 either.
I suck?Nope.I am extremely good at Tekken.Perhaps the version u playied was set in easy difficulty.I could beat TTT in Ultra Hard when I first playied T4(Perhaps I forgot to mention that I can now finish it anytime).I am not the only one that found T4 different. There are many Tekken players that found T4 more difficult too. They beat TTT easily, know chain combos, counter throws etc but they couldnt beat T4 the first times of play. Most of them have even given up trying to learn T4.They continue with TTT instead.
VF4 last longer mostly because of better AI(which is something I admire a lot in the VF series) and more difficulty at learning the moves.
In T4 characters are distinguishable too.Its the previous ones that had similar characters(although differently used to win.Especially playing against an expert).Dont tell me now that Law and Lee are almost the same thing for an example.
About Fang\'s stance changing isnt realstic.Generally almost every move in VF4 are based on real martial arts but they arent realistic looking.I also think they could have added more martial arts than introducing two characters doing Jeet Kune Do(even if they use different tactics and power-something I mentioned before)and another two doing similar martial art like Lau and Pai.
Instead of ditching and say that VF completely sucks(Originally posted by Paul:Tekken 4 sucks period) I see it as a great fighting game and I do play and want to master VF.I only prefer Tekken4 more for the reasons I said before.

Playing against a weak AI(like in most Tekkens) u dont have the chance to.I think u should watch a Korean Tekken4 match.
