i read in the paper today, that he can move a finger on one of his hands, and move all of his toes, he can also feel when pricked by a pin anywhere on his body, and that he can feel hot or cold.....

I saw a commercial blip of that on the news yesterday, didnt catch the actual story though. They did show some fottage of him moving his legs though.

its quite possible, i remember when it happend to him, a girl had the same thing, and she beat it, and now can walk etc, and lives a normal life now.... so it is possible, the body is a wonderful thing ( esp a womens!!)

The better question would be, how is it not possible. Doctors mis-diagnose paralysis(sp?) all of the time. Sometimes they are correct, more often than not they arent. SOmetimes they truely dont know and since it seems permanent, that is what they go with.

He can also breathe unaided for 90 minutes, without his respirator. I still think he has many years of rehabilitation ahead of him and even then he is not guaranteed to make much improvement. Nobody knows when or if he will recover.
