I really don\'t like Slipknot but I wouldn\'t their lyrics are meaningless.  I\'m sure theirs a hidden meaning to almost every one of their songs.

Dammit, Nirvana>Metallica. Nevermind/In Utero>*insert album here*

End of story.

Oh, and

BWAHAHAHA! (seriously, their lyrics aren\'t pointless. Read them, there actually very deep and interesting each with a hidden meaning. They have a vast amount of talent. Everything from their lyrics to their hard-ass sound.

Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.

Just b/c a person doesnt seem to understand lyrics doesnt mean they are meaningless. Sure there are some that may truely make no sense, but more often than not, someone just didnt "get" what they were saying and call nonsense.

Sales mean nothing to me.  Theirs no way you will ever convince me that And Justice For All isn\'t the best album ever. :)

Not trying to start any flames, but how is their gigalo song deep?

ooops, for a second I thought that was ICP.

I saw that guy with the white mask and thought it was a clown.

I actually find Sic to have pretty cool lyrics.

note: I honestly have never read their lyrics.  I actually don\'t know much about them, just that I hate their music.  Any group that writes a song about a girl in a box though, loses a lot of respect.  (not that I respected them much anyway).

Anyway, no way I\'d accept that band as anything good, much less great.  And it\'s not because I don\'t like that type of music either, because there are plenty of people in that area of music that I do listen to.  That\'s my two sense anyway.

And yes...

Yea, you know you like my use of the pictures for the albums.  Don\'t worry doesn\'t make you right though. ;)

ICP...LOL. Yeah I was thinking the same thing. They\'re called "juggalos" btw. They suck, but the weird thing is they have extremely fanatical fans. I like about 1 some from them. The rest are crap IMO.

shock: I pretty sure there isn\'t any Slipknot song that talks about a girl in a box. Thats just their gimmick they used to try to look scary. You know, where masks, threaten the audience, that kind of stuff. But when you take all that away, you\'re left with just their music, which is amazing IMO.

Well, I\'ll stop arguing opinions then.

They didn\'t threaten the audience at all when I saw them.  Ironically, a very good portion of it left during their performance anyway :)

My only real beef with Slipknot is the fact that they make fun of boy bands who dress up and dance while they have the whole putting on makeup and wearing mask thing.  Its all the same to me.
