Got it yesterday.  I have to say its damn fun.  Way better than MOHAA.  Nothing like manning an AA gun and shooting down a plane.  I went online last night and played Iwo Jima (really fun - we held the island from the Imperialist Americans), Omaha Beach (much better than the MOHAA version), and Battle of the Bulge (this was the most fun).  Its great when you can jump in a tank and someone on your team jumps aboard and mans the machinegun.

I saw some people trying to use the standard jump and shoot that has become so popular in FPS\'s like Quake and Half Life - it doesn\'t work for them.  This game is a must buy for anyone that likes FPS\'s like MOHAA or RCW.  It is more realistic, but at the same time the controls are easy - even for piloting a plane.  This game also has a single player option which looks pretty good.  I tried playing the Battle of Kursk as the Germans and got whooped.  The AI for your teammates (bots) is my only complaint.  They don\'t seem to help you gain objectives.  I basically took my Tiger I to an objective point and captured it only to have the whole Soviet team surround me while my teammates were off doing who knows what.

I have played the demo since day 1... and I love it.. I play it everyday now :) But we Europeans have to wait till next Friday :(
There is so much to do in this game... My favourites are:
-APC full of infrantry... attacking enemy base, its so beutiful when u see 6 infrantris running out of that apc and owns everything :)
-Controlling the Destroyer... and have a teammate as a scout on the island, he gives u artiller targets with the binolucar and u can then be a like miles away... and shoot on all kind of targets. Its just great when I see enemy tank blow up from the Destroyer artillery cannons. :)

Love it! Played for four hours last night. We battled for Iwo Jima in one game for thirty minutes before we took it. I really like how you can choose your spawn point,  makes for a nice team effort. I also like the battle for Berlin and Stalingrad. Pure carnage. LOL Between that and Mafia my gaming days are filled for now. Got to go with a Ti card. Im greedy I have a Ti4600 and love it. Yes its a bit pricey but Im crazy like that. See you on the battlefield! Msgt Jiggs.

I love this game - I am addicted.  I just wish I could fly a freaking plane!!!!  I can, but always end up crashing.

Advice... use the 1sp persion view.
I used 3rd person view in the begining, it was ok... but I never hit what I wanted to hit... bombed mud, dogfighting was imposible etc. So use the 1st person view :) And if u dont know... there is 2 different 1st person views in the plane.
F9: u see all instruments etc..
F9 x2: u only see a crosshair
I have practiced with airplane a lot singleplayer as well as multiplayer.. I can now fly upsidedown under bridges etc :)
Another advice is to use the torpedo bomber the way it is supposed to be used. If u have seen Pearl Harbour , u know what I talk about :)
Fly low over the sea... and drop the torpedo, but drop it only in deep water. And u have to fly VERY low, or else the torpedo goes under the ship.

Great game. Although flying planes is a bytch.. They need to add joystick support.. It\'s pissing me off using a mouse.. I hate using mouse for flying. I\'ve got a Saitek Cyborg 3D Digital Joystick, which is GREAT for flying games. and i can\'t use the bastard..  The Anti Ship cannon things are crazy (3rd or 4th mission).. Untill u get bombed by a plane :/

Great game... :)
