Now that is just sick

Most ignorant post in recent forum history. Why would you not pierce your nipples or gentials? If the pain is not a factor a detterent than there is plenty of reasons.

1) Personal body decoration and despite what you may think - it is not about being "cool" or having piercings or tattoo\'s people can see. Infact, a lot of times it is better to have hidden ones as not to have to listen to ignorant comments, etc. I\'ve had plenty of visible ones and non-visible ones and I must say, I prefer the non-visible simply because I don\'t have to listen to people\'s comments.

2) Pleasure. Yes, there is pleasure in pain. Since I\'ve pierced my nipples they are 5x more sensative - in a good way. See\'ing as this is a PG rated board, I won\'t go into the benefits of the nipples or gential piercings. Sum it up: pleasure.

Then there is other personal reasons that differ from person to person. Just because you think something like branding is sick , doesn\'t mean it is. I happen to know someone with a branding and it looks gorgeous. Same with some scarfications. Infact, I cannot stand people who seperate tattooing, piercings, branding, scarification and the other forms of body modification. It\'s all the same. You\'re altering your body. No form is more or less disgusting. And while you may not like it and can\'t understand why someone would do it (which is fine) - to think it is sick is very narrow minded. There is all different walks of people , from different lives and these people have different views on what is beautiful and what isn\'t. My idea of beautiful is an asian girl with a bunch of body mods.
Yum.

I\'ve posted the type of tattoo I would get, if I was crazy enough to, but I\'ll elaborate with pictures.

My bad, it\'s been a while and I had a lot of threads to go over.  Sorry I missed yours.

Piercing is not for everyone.  One must be in calm with their own self, in better awareness of their body\'s flow of energy.

N E ways, I\'m always hanging outside my flat w/o a shirt on, but I got the piercing for myself.  It was something that I wanted to do, I wanted to have the entire experience and have the memory/proof of taking control of my own self.

I definately didn\'t do it for my parents.  ;)

The tattoo I\'m planning is to be a visual representation of my own beliefs, my own self at this point in my life.  It probably won\'t be relevant ten years down the road.  But that\'s the point, I want  a reminder of when I came from, and a concrete step to let me decide where I\'m going.

BOZCO, I love the wing tattoo.  I couldn\'t get one myself b/c I don\'t have the balls for it.  But I absolutely admire those w/ the wing tattoo.
