A man in Australia cut off his pinkie during an argument with his wife and then chased the woman outside where: "He then proceeded to dismember his member," said a policeman, "It is the most bizarre thing I have seen in 16 years in the police force."
After cutting off his scrotum and penis the man also chopped off his left hand. The man was believed to have been drugged up on amphetamines when he attacked himself with a carving knife.
The man was lucky an ambulance crew saw the attack and stopped him from bleeding to death. Police recovered several of his body parts, the source does not say which ones, and packed them in ice. The man was flown to hospital for microsurgery.
