Wasn\'t there a blue PS2 like that awhile ago?  Sort of transparent, but a blue hue to it.

Probably just another limited edition PS2.

- As part of what looks like a promotion for a future game featuring Toro, the happy white feline hero of the Dokodemo Issyo companionship simulation, Sony displayed a special white version of the PlayStation 2 hardware at the Tokyo Game Show today. The quality of the color perhaps doesn\'t quite come through in these photos, but it\'s very interesting, a sort of milky, semi-translucent quality. It makes a nice contrast to the basic black of the main system or the familiar transparent colors released earlier in the summer.

I also heard about a platinum PS2 something I\'ll see if I can find what site is was on.

 Sorry my mistake it was a platinum GC not PS2.  Limited Edition Consoles are so worth the money:rolleyes:

I\'m gonna carve one out of wood sometime... with burl inlays and stuff.  Forkit, Im gonna call that Norm guy from the New Yankee Workshop to do one up for me.
