Yeah, but it was supposed to be a game that blew Goldeneye out of the water.  In reality, it didn\'t even come close.

I agree Ginko, I\'m still amazed as well.

Get over it my near sighted friends and just enjoy the games. You worry too much and it\'s not good for your health.

The last Rare game I played was Battletoads...

They can sell themselves to Satan and I still wouldn\'t give a damn. :p  But I guess Xbox owners have reason to be happy;  more exclusives is always a good thing.

Well at least the games\'ll look good...

But seriously now that means you\'d have to have an Xbox to play many of the good games but without Nintendo there they won\'t have the same classic feel.:(

Well, considering I was comparing it to another N64 title, I don\'t see why it\'s unreasonable to think it would have been better.

By the way, I presonally liked the N64 more than the psx.

not that I think the X box sucks, but I just hate how MS buys everything they can get their hands on.  I think it really started to bother me when I found out about Munches.... I refuse to buy an x box.  I wish Billy boy would just stick to his damn computer and leave us gammers alone.  The man has TOO MUCH money

Hey, it\'s not like I\'m bashing the psx, it was a nice system.  Just could never compare to the greatness that was the n64 ;)

I have always maintained that Rare is over-rated, but still, how this effects NIntendo is the big thing. I honestly don\'t see as it will have much a effect for MS, as they are so far in the hole now - it would take more than this to save \'em.
Thats my two cents, for the moment. I\'ll post a more indepth viewpoint after I get some sleep.

Kind of like Sony buying Psygnosis, Naughty Dog, Insomniac, etc etc.?  It\'s standard business practice.  Microsoft didn\'t make (good) games, so they had to buy people who did (or start up their own developement teams.. or both).

God.  If only Watchdog could see me now ;)

Speaking of Watch... where is he? Haven\'t seen him post in a while.

I don\'t really have a problem with MS buying some companies up, they gotta get more good games somehow.  The problem I do have is when they go after the huge names, people like Sega, Rare, and Squaresoft.
Lisa: \"They must of programed it to eliminate the competition!\"
Bart: \"You mean like Microsoft?\"

Nintendo letting Rare go and MS buying Rare is pure business, on all 3 sides. I think it\'s a good deal..

Nintendo drops a developer that\'s been a paper-weight since Conker and gains some valuable spending money, MS gains a talented group of guys and solid franchises, Rare gets a Microsoft-brand money hat.. and.. that\'s it. :)
