This guy summed it all up VERY WELL:

ssokolowski- No game out or coming soon for any system (PC included) has that kind of detail in character models. It\'s really astonishing in every respect, too. Aside from the character models and detail therein, the environments look very good with excellent texture work and detail as well. Even the outside pic (with the van) looks awesome and there is obviously NOT only a 10 foot draw distance outside like "certain" people suggested as to why the game looks so damn good. Check the wood textures on that pic of the Roller Coaster, as well as the self-shadowing from the man\'s hat in the first picture going down his right side. The list of amazingness (word?) could go on for a long time, but you are all aware of how great this game looks, even compared to the best being shown on any system. All in realtime, too.

Just as we all predicted, the jump in graphics on the PS2 has been nothing short of amazing, and it will only get better from here on, too. I don\'t think there has ever been a leap in graphical quality on any system over this relatively short amount of time like we are seeing in this generation of PS2 games.

looks amazing, dunno why she kinda reminds me of the cop in sh1, hope they are some way put together, not just they are in same town

And they say PS2 cant do CGI quality grahphics.bah!I prefer this than DOOM3.
