Photoshop Tutorial?
« on: September 24, 2002, 06:47:23 PM »
I have photoshop just sitting away on my desktop and I really want to get good at it. I\'ve looked but is there a tutorial that comes with it or any online guide kinda thing? Thanks.

Team Photoshop is a good place for tutorials.  I often find myself there.

Photoshop\'s an awesome program very powerful it just has a very high learning arc.  I usually do most of my art work in paint shop pro cuz it\'s simpler but go over to photoshop when I want some cool effects.  I suck badly at both but practice makes perfect as they say.

IMO photoshop is 20 times better and poweful than PSP, anyway you will need very much time of practice to get nice results.

I\'ve been using photoshop for quite awhile, and in my experience, the best way to learn by far for me was just to spend time practicing making all sorts of pictures and playing with all the tools until I understood how to use them.

I bought a tutorial book (I don\'t even remember the name of it now) that helped me advance a little quicker, but time and continuous use is what helped me to get to a much higher skill level.
