Mensa IQ test
« on: September 27, 2002, 12:53:32 PM »
I\'m taking an IQ test arranged by Mensa tomorrow, and so to warm up I did a test at their Danish website - http://www.mensa.dk/test_din_iq.html. Then I got an idea... it could be fun if you guys took the very same test so we could compare scores. Don\'t worry about it being Danish - it\'s a cultural fair test (shapes and symbols).

Just click on the link and press \'start testen\' at the bottom of the screen. You have 40 mins to choose the right symbol in each of the 40 tests (1 min for each ;)). When you\'re done press \'menu\' and \'send\'. Viola, the number that comes up is your IQ. :)

If you get an above average you should take a screenshot to proove it. Good luck! :D

Mensa IQ test

Too lazy to take it right now, but I have taken numerous online tests, and two full fledged in person and observed IQ tests, and my average is around 170 something.  The online tests are surprisingly close to the results I\'ve gotten from the "real" tests.  I used to have a little certificate from one of the "real" tests, and I probably still have it, just don\'t know where it is.

Anyways, best of luck Sammy.  BTW has Mensa lowered it\'s IQ requirments, I heard from someone that it\'s down to like 140 now, any truth in this?  I hope it\'s false, because hell if they lower it much more it won\'t have the same prestige it once had.

Hmm... I just relized that if they had spelling on the IQ tests I would have come out as being retarded.

The requirements are 148. BTW, you DON\'T NEED TO UNDERSTAND Danish to take this test. I thought I made that clear. :)

Just follow my little guide and there shouldn\'t be a problem at all.

BTW, most IQ tests on the Internet are useless... they\'re just entertainment. This isn\'t the \'real\' one that Mensa uses either, but it\'s an indicator of where you are.

BTW 2 - if you have an IQ of 170 you\'re like in the 99.99th percentile... Theomen, you\'re a genious.

I got 103 when I somewhat tried. (It gets really tedious looking at the screen)

I\'ll try it again and pick anything at random. :)

i did the same as soul reaver, for the first 10 or 15 questions I took it seriously, but then quickly became bored with it, and blew the rest of it.  good news is I finished in under 6 minutes with 130 something.  Nothing to write home to mommy about, but still kinda cool, considering I blindly answered 2/3\'s of the questions in about 4 seconds each :)

That happened with me, the last 7 or 8 questions, I just clicked on anything. I ended up with 118, but maybe if I had took it seriousley at the end, I might have got higher.
Don't waste your words I don't need anything from you. I don't care where you've  been or what you plan to do. I am the resurrection and I am the light. I  couldn't ever bring myself to hate you as I'd like.

Took the test last year.  Not the Danish one mind you, but the online MENSA test.  I\'m not compelled to share the results though.  To me, it\'s like telling everyone how much money you make, which is sort of a social no-no.

Yea, but most people just don\'t try by the last 29 Questions. So, it really doesn\'t tell you your true intelligence.

Oh yea, for you people who are scared of taking this test, just remember that you still have you "street smarts." :p

Well, I was taking it seriously...then I had to go eat dinner :(

I just rushed through the end, taking maybe 5-10 seconds on the last few.  I got 160.
