1st pic is of course live action footage from the movie !
The other pics do indeed show this game is gonna look
nice. I saw only one gamplay video of this game. It was
filmed with a digital camera. It looked impressive.
Animation and frames p/sec was also very smooth
Though I hope the game will turn out to be more than
just hack n slash.

The first shot certainly looks like CG movie, the rest of them I would guess are in game. And mighty impressive they are too.

Knotter, the first pic is obviously movie footage, but what i wanted to mean is that real clips from the movie will appear in the title \'cause that pic was taken from the game.

Extended play reviewed the first of the 3 games and gave it a 2 out of 5 - wich of course ain\'t good.

"The lackluster presentation combined with the clunky and often frustrating gameplay makes "Fellowship of the Ring" more of a chore to play than anything else. Unfortunately, this disappointing title is recommended for diehard Tolkien fans only, and even then only as a rental."

To both Adan and Astroboy,
yeah I knew they will put in real movie footage in the game ;)
But from various previews from the dutch game magazine
Power Unlimited, I get the impression they were VERY impressed
with the game. Especially it\'s presentation. They said they had a
hard time telling which was which when the movie cutscenes switch to ingame. That coming from such sceptic PS2 ppl ( yeah the mag is a bit NGC/Xbox fanboyish :o ) tells alot.

The "Fellowship of the Ring" game for Xbox is a completely different animal than this game, so making any judgments on the EA Two Towers game based on the review of that Xbox FoTR game is ridiculous.

Of course, there\'s also a FoTR game for the PS2 coming out that\'s based on the same game design as the Xbox version, but has completely different art and is done by the people who did Drakan.

Hmm.. I\'ve got a video of Two Towers from the PSM2 magazine.. It looks AMAZING. The magazine stated it raised more than a few eyebrows when it was shown at E3 not long ago. It really is a MUST SEE. It\'s absolutely the best real-time sequence i\'ve seen on ANY format (pc or consoles) It looked like a movie. I have the dvd .vob file, but it\'s quite big so maybe I should compress it to mpeg1 and post it on the net somewhere for all to see....

I\'ve saw the footage of LOTR:FOTR(Xbox version) and it looks like crap with massive lag.(on Extended Play).

The PS2 LOTR game looks superb with smooth and realistic animations. I guess that must the Two Tower game here shown above.

I have the Xbox version and I can say it doesn\'t look like crap. There are problems with it, mainly not enough adventure. Yes there is some frame rate problems but not too bad.

I am looking forward to EA\'s version, though.

The Xbox version is definitely not crap.  Like Ace said there are a few problems, but "to date" it is the best LOTR game that has been released.  I don\'t think the adventure part is that bad, my pet peeve is the dialog.  On another note I am highly anticipating picking up my copy of the EA version as it looks like it will have some great action.
