A good thread idea, sir. Thanks!
I have been a still photography freak for as long as I can remember, and I have an interesting camera collection. My main workhorse is a Canon Elan IIE (known as the Canon EOS 50E or EOS 55 elsewhere in the world) (
http://www.canon.com/camera-museum/camera/1992-1996/data/1995_eos55.html). I have a few EOS lenses and some other hardware for it.
I\'ve always been drawn toward Canon products, since my first 35mm camera, which was a Canonet GIII QL17 (
http://www.canon.com/camera-museum/camera/1970-1975/data/1972_netg3-17.html) That camera is so incredibly durable and dependable, I still use it occasionally. I bought a couple more of them, and a friend and I build a stereo photo rig that utilizes two QL17s side by side. It\'s kind of awkward, but it works great.
I also love historic Polaroid equipment. I have this really cool leather bound SX70 folding camera that always impresses the uninitiated.
I have to scan some current photos soon, so I\'ll dig out a few old images and post them here if I get the chance.
