Gamecube online?
« on: October 01, 2002, 07:54:31 PM »
Is it? I am skeptical about buying the little box of joy- because I have heard no plans of online play. Will there? When? How? Which games?

If it comes online soon, I will probably pick one up as soon as I have the money..

Generally, I have no idea when the online titles will be comming out and/or solid online plans released. PSO Ep 1 & 2 will be released the 30th of October and the NGC BBA and 56k modem will be out shortly (like a week) beforehand.

I wouldn\'t be surprised if it gets pushed back a week or three to give Sega time to fix the Duping bug they found in the Jp version.

Hmmm I saw some pictures of the modem in EGM and frankly I hope it does not attach the way it looks like it will.  It is mounted on the bottom of the console and it is not nearly as wide.  It will make the console rock back and forth.  It could just be a beta picture, but it was really weird looking.

The modem would slot entirely into it\'s bay beneath the GC. Complete with cover ala N64 expansion pak.

Spudz: Nintendo is supposedly working on online titles. Sega\'s PSO is the only game announced, right now.

If you insist on showing you\'re ignorance and stupidity here, then you\'ll understand when we must insist on showing you the door. Don\'t bother comming back (if you are able) until you learn to grow up and discuss your critisims instead of throwing a hissy fit.
