The blur is due to anisotropic filtering not being turned on.  Most developers probably feel the trade off isn\'t worth it as anisotropic filtering causes a big hit in performance.  

30fps is fine in most games, the only games that really need 60 are certain types of FPS(Quake3 and UT types) and fighting games.  A constant 30 in pretty indistinguishable from 60 in any others.

Nice looking.I like the water effects.But seeing that detailed character and textures in the foreground and all that blurriness 3 meters further and beyond makes the game feel kinda incomplete graphically.

mm - the ground in Rallisport wasn\'t blur.  It was a standard LOD model.

However the BACKGROUNDS in Rallisport had horrible bi-linear filtering appplied.  THAT was annoying.  

At least it ran at a constant 60fps tho (even in 4player Split Screen)

This game is sounding somewhat better each time I read about it.  At first I thought it was going to just be a big Pikmin rip-off (which I loved!) so I was interested, but skeptical.  Now it seems to be getting much deeper, so I\'ll have to keep my eye on it.

well, whatever.

All I know is that from what I see, it just appears as tho the bumpmapping has disappeared.  and detail lost.  Not necessarily what I would call blur, because those are standard in any LOD model I\'ve ever seen.

Whereas the backgrounds WERE blurry... those trees were attrocious.

Meh, I don\'t care, I didn\'t like the game anyway.  *waits for Colin McRae Rally 3*

Ah C\'mon,  Rallisport graphics are the best to date on any system.  Very detail textures.

Rallisport is a fine Rally game.

It\'s just a pity that Rally games havent surpassed the original Colin McRae rally yet.  So there was no point in me buying a second, inferior one.

Particularly when CMR was awesome with a second player to just play destruction Derby with  Wasn\'t as good in Rallisport =/

Gran Turismo had a fine Rally mode as well.

rallisport=plain rally game trying to hide under nice graphics.

Gran Turismo had a fine Rally mode as well.

As much as I love GT, the rally mode was complete utter crap. Rallisport is one of the better rally games I\'ve played but not as good as CMR.
