Yer not the only one Raist.. when I get an Xbox it\'ll definately be one of the first titles I pick up. (Depending on reviews/rental :D )
I don\'t see how you could say it looks like crap ViVi... it\'s definately ODD looking.. but in terms of textures, effects, and polygon count it\'s very impressive. Chances are it\'ll be a great game too as long as (as mm said) the controls aren\'t overly complex.

9.3 from OXM if that means anything to you guys.

Apparently the gameplay has mixed in elements of all the previous Panzer Dragoon games.  


  • Different forms of dragons you can switch between to better handle some tasks
  • A speed burst and a slow down feature have been added
  • some enemies can only be attacked from certain angles so there is a bit more strategy involved
  • More enviromental hazards you must dodge
  • 15+ unlockable scenarios based on performance
  • Other creatures besides dragons to unlock and ride, and various characters
  • Unlockable movies
  • Pandora\'s Box
  • Numerous secret pathways in each level
  • Ground and air missions


They went as far to say that their expectations were blown away by the graphics, story, gameplay, and the staggering amount of unlockable goodies.  

The cons-
You can\'t help but wonder what it would be like in complete 3D.
Cheap shots from some enemies and bosses.
Wish there were more types of dragons to use.

This game looks downright amazing. One of the only games to impress me with graphics. The others being Rogue Squadron and Ego. Good work Sega. I just hope they didn\'t focus on the graphics too much. It has a very clean look to it.

Ginko, you got the new OXM?  Mine shoud be coming soon in the mail.  WOW!  That PD review sounds damn great!  I sure think it\'s going to be a GOTY! These screens are sure nice.  I don\'t know what  ViVi is talking about.
