I\'m studying abroad and my PC is at home. I needed a mobile system to do the work in the flat and then carry it home when needed. My option was to purchase a laptop. I had not much money to spent, so I bought a new Toshiba Satellite 2400-103. Specs here:

I guess it has Windows XP installed. I only hate the graphic card, that is a sh¡t but I\'m using it as school-work only. What do you think?

I\'ve also bough a printer: HP Laserjet 1200, nice laser printer.

Both devices, laptop + printer has cost me 2200$
What do you think?

PD: Will I be able to install MS office 2000 in xp OS or I must buy office xp?

i think u can install office 2000 on xp.

heheh, thanx tyrant... I would wanted to buy a better one, but considering what will be the work of the laptop and my money, i think it\'s a good election.

Do you really think i will be able to use office 2000 in XP? It would be great.

well on the microsoft site it says that office 2000 will work on xp so i guess that there should be no problem.

Kurt I liked more Toshiba 5100-201, which is a better laptop, but my money has a limit and I had to buy this one. Anyway, I\'ll play in my old one, with better graphic card. The printer, by the way, is amazing and the quality of the letters/graphics is awesome.

Have you tried any games on your laptop yet? If so how do they run and look? And I was saying that machine is far more powerfull than most desktops out there.

Sorry for my lack of clarity but that is one hell of a rig for a laptop. The ultimate.

No, i haven\'t check it out cause the laptop arrives on monday. I\'ll tell you later although 16 MB of video is not enough for 90% of current games.

There are better laptops friend :)

my desktop isn\'t jealous.. it\'s laughs at that laptop. "hahahah" it says..

good laptop dood.. but don\'t worry about gaming. Laptops soul idea was for business/study etc.  Not so much gaming. :)
