Engineering Project...

I\'m in a highschool Engineering Design and Development class.  For this class, we basically have to come up with some sort of original invention or improvement on another product, and then construct the thing during the course of the year.  Well, I\'m pretty much stuck.  I can\'t come up with a good idea for an invention that people would actually want and use, that I could realistically create.  

So, I\'m asking if any of you can help me.  Is there any thing that you hate doing that an invention could fix, or any product that you wish could do something that it can\'t?  Any ideas for inventions at all?  Any help would be really appreciated.

I\'d like an automatic hand that can do my, um "business" for me... you know. My wrists hurts sometimes.

Actually I don\'t have a clue. I\'ll tell you as soon as I think of something serious!

how about........ i know a shopping trolley, instead of wheels, have 4 balls used as wheels, with the covers going over half of the balls, hope you know what i mean
