And risk a nuclear war? Maybe the Indian would use that as a excuse to nuke Pakistan? And you never know what the yanks would do, they are as jumpy/trigger-happy as ever (especially when they got that cowboy on the throne).

No one is stopping them from getting the bomb. We even though of getting some nukes ourselves in the 50-60ies (Sweden).
