yeah why the HELL IS that ?


Free Radical (Nottingham) gets launched in the US 1st
Rockstar North (SCOTLAND) gets launched in the US 1st

God Damn you Eidos and Rockstar don\'t forget were these great games come from !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :mad:

ok its less than 3 days... 4  if we count Friday. (some EB and Game stores have been know to sell games a day early TS2 for example )


So the real question is anyone Psyched ?

Probably because the games are developed using 60Hz as the backbone, then has to be converted for 50Hz?  Plus isn\'t their parent company Rockstar games based in US?  R. North might develop the code but the game has to be mass produced in the US.  I\'m pretty sure R. North doesn\'t have the facilites to create 5 million games for first day\'s/week\'s launch.

I got the impression that you could choose from 50Hz or 60Hz in the UK version.

Most European developers create their games for the superior PAL format. Im not sure if DMA did this with Vice City though because it was created in both the UK and US.

The reason why its launched later in Europe might have something to do with localisation (translate game into French, German, Italian, Spanish ect).

Rockstars does not print the games, Sony does.
