Official Beat the Game, Stats and Final Opinions/Reviews

Well I just beat the game. I figured making a thread about it would be a good idea because most of you will be there shortly also.
Im going to post my stats, just in case any of you care or want to compare or anything. And it isnt every EVERY SINGLE stat just the important ones. Remember they are only average, not like I was on a killing spree or wanted to do everything perfectly. Here they are:

Well there they are, my stats. I assure you the next time around everything is going to be ALOT higher. Gotta love this game, have to go through it all again, this time much better.

Now my final Opinion/Review of the game:
This game is incredible, definately what I expected it to be but in some parts not quite what I expected it to be. Overall the game is great, good graphics, nice missions with very good details and very well put together. The motorcycles and helicopters were a great addition, giving players ultimate perspective on the game this time around. I didnt find the Plane as interesting as the helicopter, as it is not as mobile and not as good agility wise. Its good for almost nothing beside flying around the islands if your a sight seer type person.
Although it was nice to see the complete setting and all of each island early on in the game I still like the Suprise of new islands, as in GTA3. I liked to beat all missions in an island then go to a new fresh island with new fresh missions. It was a nice touch. But it surely doesnt take anything away from Vice City itself. Its still one of the most impressive games Ive seen. Of course, worth the buy.
The weapons are again of good choice, specially with the new added hackers such as the katana and chainsaw. Lovely to see blood splatter all over the screen while chopping up a group of people which I thought was also a nice addition to the game. Gave it more reality and better scene settings.
Anyone out there knows this game gives new impressive standards to gaming, as did with GTA3. People out there even thinking about renting this game, Dont... Its not worth it. Your not going to get your fix out of renting this game. You have to get full potential to explore and do whatever you want, with the all the time you want, to get satisfaction. Unless of course your the type of person thats just like.. "I play game, I play missions, I beat missions, I done." Whatever floats your boat. I like to fully enjoy the games I play.

How do you get to dish out ice creams?  I own the cherry popper, and I get in teh truck and it says to deal ice cream, but I can\'t figure out how?  I drive around and around but no one comes up to the truck?

You have to come to a complete stop and press L3. The Ice cream trucks music will come on and people will come up to buy some "Ice Cream." They should show up on radar as little yellow blips.

Either you used cheats or the game is WAY easier than GTA3 ;/

The game is so much more complex, he cannot possibly be 100% done.

It looked like he was 65% done, according to the stats...

I\'ve heard a couple people say "I finished the game", because
they saw credits rolling. But I\'ve heard that you\'re not really
"finished", because there are missions involving the strip club,
and other places. I know one guy said he was "done", but had
only 50% complete. I can\'t believe that the other 50% is all
the side missions (ambulance, police, etc)...

I did not use any cheats, and no I dont have 100% done. Look at my stats!

I didnt say I was finished with the game I just said I beat it(all missions.) Although after the last missions I did get some phone calls on the cell phone that hinted to more missions later, but I doubt it. We\'ll see.

damn man u rushed it. im gonna take it slow do all the sub missions first, cos in gta they where a bugger when u had all the gangs after u

I didnt really rush, I did do lots of sub-missions. I just couldnt stay away from the game period.

I\'m at 45% and have completed all of the main missions a while ago.  There didn\'t seem to be as many as in GTA3, but they are much more satisfying and well structured (most of them anyway).  I\'m currently buying property and collecting my money.  I could rush through the final missions in a few hours and see the credits, but I don\'t want to see the last few missions until I have 100%.  I am bound and determined to get every ounce of gaming goodness out of this game, something I didn\'t do with GTA3.  I still have my rampages and hidden packages to find...along with one more assasination to finish up, and stores to hold up, and.......

I tried the L3 button with the ice cream truck but it still doesn\'t work.  Do I need to be in a specific area of town or something?  ANy help would be appreciated.

No, its L3 but I dunno whats wrong with your game. Have you bought the Ice Cream company, got in the truck and it go to a little cut scene telling you about the mission and what your supposed to do? If so, I dont know what could be wrong... maybe theres no people around?

try tapping L3 quickly, the same way you turn on sirens in emergergency vehicles.

Cha-ching... thats probably the problem. Didnt think about that one. You do have to tap it rather quickly to get the music goin.
