Yes I agree, Democrats are run by the rich. However, even these rich peeps are American hating leftist. Hypocritcal rich leftist yes, but rich. The environmentalist for example, run by extremist communist Sierra Club who wants to take away the land, and let the forest destroyed, are the Democrats allys (earn their money by misguided donors who believe they are helping save the environment). Teacher Union, a union almost if not EVERY teacher has to join and support, who want to push their agenda down and brainwash our children into with sex education, animal rights talk, and other leftist crap, support the Dems. Unions in general, support the Dems. ACLU, who wants to make sure God is eliminated anywhere (yet doesn\'t care that a class is teaching about Muslims, and had kids dress up as Muslims and had their own little Jihad [I wish I was kidding you]) also support the Dems with the money that they earned by legal challanges and donors. And of coarse, the Hollywood Liberals. They have tons of money, yet bash other rich people for "not caring" about the poor. NAACP. Supposively for the advancements of color people (minus say successful groups like Asians) but really, to give Blacks preferable treatment and maintain a welfare state that never worked. Same with GLADD only this time for Gays and Lesbians. Both of coarse support Dems.
Now, yes, power corrupts, and when a nice bag of dough from say the oil company will help make a Dem support a certain thing (backdoor of coarse), which is partially why corrupt Davis nearly lost the envirowacko vote (Peter Cajamo, as you recall, did get 5% of the vote here). And, in a way, this is at least part of the reason why Democrats lost in the last election. But other then these "bad apples", a lot of leftist follow the money, and the money is from these hypocritical groups that basically made the Democratic party what it is today.
And its about to go really liberal when Nancy Pelosi (from San Francisco of all places :rolleyes: ) becomes the Minority Leader in the House.
