Gta 3 framerate?

I was just wondering what the framerate of gta3 is?The f.r is obviouslly lower then the other games on ps2 but the f.r is constant(sometimes there\'s a framedrop but nothing worth mentioning)so it\'s never really annoying.When you switch from let\'s say dead or alive2 or ssx tricky to gta3 you notice that it\'s lower(the framerate)but this is loggical cause the area is a lot bigger etc.

Annyway if annyone knows it don\'t hesitate to replay.

P.S:This is not a gta3 diss I\'m just wondering if annyone knows the framerate.As a matter of fact I think gta3 is one of the  best games that came out for the ps2 in the last couple of years.

maximum 30 fps... and that\'s piss poor [(c) by oo_seven]. And it being large shouldn\'t make a difference, Jak & Daxter and Rachet & Clank both smash GTA3 in scape and size (and everything else). Nonetheless, GTA3 is one hell of a game and I enjoyed it heaps. That doesn\'t mean though that I\'m impressed of their technical achievement.

I think Luke was refering to "framerate" when saying that he\'s got no idea. It\'s kind of logical to assume that, since you were the one asking a question about it. No reason to call anyone stupid, especially after making such a false assumption.

Agreed with seven. It\'s quite logical what\'s Luke was referring to.

Anyway, I never think GTA3 as any technical achievement. Like someone already mentioned, R&C and J&D smashed it  in terms of size...and frankly, IMO, GTA3 is just a very bad game with overated publicity due to it\'s violence...bad framerate, funny car control, mindless violence, endless walking around in the city looking at the same few polygon character models....

GTA3 is an excellent game, but the graphics and framerate are poor.  This isn\'t a game to show off your PS2, but it\'s an excellent game!
