A SAVAGE grey squirrel has attacked six people — in a town called Knutsford.

It mauled its latest victim — Kelsi Morley, two — as she walked with mum Karen.

The rodent leaped on to her face and scratched her forehead, cheeks and ears with its claws.

Karen said: “It was the squirrel from hell. Kelsi was spinning around and we couldn’t get it off.

“From the amount of blood I thought he’d taken her eye out. The squirrel then jumped on a fence and sat watching us.”

Nurse Bob Byast rushed from his home to help Kelsi.
His girlfriend Sheila Eyre had her ankle lacerated in an earlier ambush by the squirrel.



Terror ... Kelsi shows her scratches


She said: “It was a shock. You don’t expect that from a squirrel.

“Everyone’s scared to go out. I think he loves blood — he’s like a vam-pire squirrel.”

Other residents in the wooded Hayfields district of Knutsford, Cheshire, said the beast had struck six times in one week.



Search ... Sun reporter Guy yesterday

Ray Jackson, who runs an animal sanctuary, said: “It may once have been a pet. When these animals are tamed young and let go they can become aggressive.”

Fearless Sun man Guy Patrick launched his own bid to end the squirrel’s reign of terror yesterday.

Clad in hunting gear, he said: “I searched for three hours in the squirrel’s favourite woods and saw rabbits and foxes. But I was outfoxed by the ghastly grey fiend.”

squirrel update !

the Squirrel has been killed by Kelsi Morley(age 2) Grand Father, he shot it with an air rifle.

Still to confirm if is THE same squirrel...will up date you As it Happens !

yea like the other night luke was over at my house and we\'re outside smoking cigarettes and there\'s something moving around in my bushes it was probably something that wanted to kill us(luke said it was a cat shaped like an alien i said it was an alien shaped like a cat)
made me wish i could get my hands on a claymore mine take care of that thing good probably take out the side of my house too but itd be worth it

don\'t you see what\'s gonna happen?  It\'s like every horror movie, they shoot the monster, and when they think it\'s dead, out of nowhere it comes back and attacks them.  Someone needs to warn these people.
