SportCompactCar magazine had two pics next to each other a few months ago of a 350Z and a TT.  Both were profie shots, and they looked almost identical.  In reality, I think the Z is bigger, so the scale of the two pics was slightly different.

If/When that Greddy twin turbo kit comes out, these Zs are going to become frightening!  Still I would not buy one in the first model year.  I\'m still reading about so many little problems people are having on the my350z.com website.  I would wait until the third model year to buy one, if I was going to.  Then you could have a choice of a convertible version as well.  I think a targa roof would be better on the 350Z, but that\'s just me.

This is one of the few cars I\'ve seen that I thought NEEDED some body kit work.  The Nismo kit parts really help alot, especially on the front end.  The divider in the grill opening and the lip really improves the toylike appearance of the stock version.

I love the kit on the orange one, though I think it would look excellent in a bright red or black with the same kit.

I don\'t like the gold mags though.

Is the 350Z sold in Australia yet?  I heard it was mostly developed for the US market, and I think the UK and Europe are still waiting.

We get it in Feburary. They expect to sell around 500 a year here, its a real competitor to the Boxster here, because its got the same performance etc, at a much cheaper price because its a Jap car and not a Euro.

Euro cars are more expensive here, Jap and US cars are really quite cheap.

I like it like dat!!  Thanks for the pics luckee.  My 90 Maxima had a huge problem with the tranny at 170k so I took it to the mechanic.  He said I needed a rebuild for about $2,000 (no thx).  When I went to pick it up expecting it to f00k up again it drove perfectly fine.  And 2k miles later it still drives great.  Hah!  Mechanic shmanic.  Nissan isforMEsan!

Wait a second...  First the car "had a huge problem with the tranny" (which I guess you noticed yourself) then the mechanic looked at it, did nothing, and now it\'s working fine?  I would be very suspicious if I were you.  I would expect a catastrophic transmission failure any time now, if you keep driving it.  It will probably happen at low speed, or while shifting into reverse or something.  Good luck!
