Hmm, thats interesting.  OSU\'s strength of schedule is ranked higher than Miami\'s, very interesting.  And whats the highest ranking team that Miami has beat?  Now whats the highest ranking team the Buckeyes have beat? Ok

I think Oklahoma is the best but are you even thinking?  You say OSU almost lost to Purdue and thats why they suck.  Oklahoma lost to an equally shitty team, Texas A&M.  Go by your own words.  OSU can\'t suck for almost losing to a bad team while Oklahoma doesn\'t suck when they did lose to a bad team.

I\'m not a stat person either.  I look at who each team has played and I realize that though Ohio State has had a shaky season, they\'ve also beat teams better than any team Miami has beat.

You can\'t judge their whole season off of one game.  As if Miami hasn\'t had their horrible games either.  Losing to Rutgers in the 4th quarter.  Purdue is much better than Rutgers.

Yes, Miami would stomp a mud-hole in Ohio State. Purdue is 4-6. Ohio State was a blown coverage away from losing 6-3 to Purdue, who isn\'t exactly a huge defensive team. If Ohio State is pinning its\' entire hopes on Clarett, they\'ll lose somewhere down the road.

As if Miami hasn\'t had their horrible games.  OSU wins just fine with Lydell in.  They just need to tell Clarett to completely sit till the bowl game.

Going against your own word too.  Just like Oklahoma, OSU met a team with nothing to lose.  Purdue has nothing to go for so how can\'t OSU use that excuse.  Please stop hating on the team, just trying to fight for an excuse.

Ohio state has beaten a higher ranked team than Miami has.  They have beaten the #4 team in the country.  They also beat teams ranked #17 and #19 when they played them.  They also still have Michigan (currently #11) to go.  Add to that the fact that they are undefeated (which says a lot about a team), and you have a team who deserves to be #2, and have proved themselves.

Yes, Ohio St.\'s strength of schedule also gained them an entire point over Miami in the BCS.  That also says something.

And the Sooners having the best D in the country?  Please.  Texas A&M picked them apart.

Ohio State has had the 21st hardest schedule as of last week.  Miami has had the 46th.

Who is, USC?  Don\'t make me laugh.  USC has two loses, and one is to WSU.  Nothing else needs to be said.

So you\'re willing to take Purdue in West Lafayette instead of Texas A&M in Kyle Field, where they\'ve lost 11 games in the past 14 years? Did it ever occur to you that Texas A&M might have the slightest bit of talent? Just a little FYI, McNeil didn\'t play against Nebraska or Oklahoma State, where A&M had probably their worst looking losses.

I don\'t know where you got that "against my own word" crap. OSU hasn\'t had just one bad game -- they\'ve had 4. You want to impress me? How about you handle Illinois. They actually have a pretty talented team, even though they started out badly. I wouldn\'t be surprised if Illinois pulled that upset...I\'d be pretty happy about it, as well.

No, I can feel as if I choose with Ohio State. You give me shit about Nebraska all the time, hell, you even hold it against me in arguments TOTALLY UNRELATED to Football. If you\'re not going to respect my team, there\'s no way in hell I\'m respecting yours. I wouldn\'t anyway.

See Yuz.
What do Kerry Wood, Mark Prior, Matt Clement, and Carlos Zambrano have in common?

They\'re the pieces to the next great pitching rotation of our time, what else?

There\'s a difference though.  Ohio St. is undefeated, they deserve respect.  Nebraska has had a bad year, they don\'t deserve respect.  And by the way, how many of those bad looking wins was Clarett playing the whole time?  Usually when you take away a teams best player, it will hurt em.  It shows some character that they were able to come up with the wins in all those games.

The difference from a team like Oklahoma and a team like OSU is that OSU went to an away field and still won.  And I think Purdue is just as good as Texas A&M, or close to it.  And OSU didn\'t exactly play bad their defense played great, as usual.

For every "bad" game they\'ve had they still won.  And you act as if Miami hasn\'t had their fair share of shaky games.  And of course you would be happy if OSU lost, as if we didn\'t already know that.

I give you shit about Nebraska because you let it bother you so much, its alright.  And go ahead and don\'t respect the team that is undefeated.

Tony, what ever happend to your "other" favorite team, Texas?

OU has played great all season, and they slip up against a team that has talent and was under-achieving.

And my god, hearing "they are undefeated, they deserve respect" is getting old. They have yet to dominate a good team. But on the other hand, OU dominated Texas.

They dominated WSU.  I don\'t know how you can keep throwing that game out the window.  WSU is ranked just as high as Texas is.

They didn\'t dominate WSU. For one, that game was in Columbus, two, WSU was leading at halftime.

Oklahoma beat Texas in Dallas, Texas. Not necesarilly a road game, but it\'s a neutral site. Oklahoma beat Mizzou in Mizzou, and that\'s ALWAYS a tough place to play. Truth be told, Oklahoma actually plays better on the road rather than at home. Alabama should have beaten them in Norman, and Okie State did last year. So with that, are you really saying that Purdue in West Lafayette is better than A&M in College Station? Pretty weak argument.

Pushing my buttons, huh? You\'re nothing but an antagonist. I\'m not going to shut up until you give me a reason to shut up, Bozco. Oh, and my Huskers are 7-4, were a bad play call away from beating the #3 team in the nation, and beat the team that just beat the #1 team in the nation in their house.

See Yuz.

Ouch, that one hit home.

What\'s to say that Ohio State will have anything to show for? Dare we look back to next year? Oregon getting screwed out of a shot at the National Title game, not even being CONSIDERED for the Rose Bowl in the final BCS poll. Whos to say that Texas won\'t jump Ohio State for their close wins against mediocre opponents, while Texas, outside of the OU game, has beaten good teams, and in tough environments (K-State in Manhattan, Nebraska in Lincoln). Go Blue.

And who wouldn\'t want to see Nebraska vs. Tennessee in the Shreveport Bowl? I\'m sure a bunch of people would pay to see that :)

And yes, you\'re an antagonist. I\'m sorry if my unbearably brutal comment offended you in any way, like everything else does.

See Yuz.

Texas has no chance of jumping OSU if they win out.  Just not going to happen.  I mean, OSU will likely be #1 in the BCS anyway, since they will have moved up more in the polls, and gained more quality win points from Saturdays games.  If OSU wins out, they are in the national title game, no question about it.
