all my guys received a similar fate. One day when my dad was at work, I dipped into his stash of black powder. I filled an old-style aluminum 35mm film cannister, drilled a hole in the screw-on lid, inserted a hunk of cannon fuse (not enough cannon fuse). I then pounded a piece of pipe in the ground about 2 feet, pulled it out, and lowered the "a-bomb" in.
After assembling and posing all of the brave young men and their vehicles at ground zero, I set up the beta video camera from the public access cable show I was involved in briefly. (oh yeah....)
The bomb was WAY more powerful than I expected. (not knowing that an old-style U.S. "pineapple" grenade only has 8 oz of black powder in it...) I blew a 4-foot crater in my backyard, destroyed the video camera, and had the cops and fire department called. ( even though I lived in the country...) The neighbors thought somebody\'s house blew up.
The only cool part is that since the camera was so old, the recorder unit was seperate, and I got the whole thing....
