Performance-wise, this car is going to be awesome, but design-wise, it\'s a disaster.  I don\'t know why everyone\'s so excited about the appearance.  They stole so many design features of the S2000, and then ruined every one of them.  That front end is

Just.  simply.  awful.

It looks really fruity with that narrow grille, and the profile is very perplexing.  Why is the C pillar so wide?  At least I think it\'s called the C pillar... you know what I mean.  The door configuration is a good idea, but once again, stolen from Saturn and Honda.  No matter what the performance figures turn out to be, I wouldn\'t give this car a second thought.  It DOES matter to me what a car looks like in addition to what it can do.

Ive stopped looking at the "stolen" design aspct of cars since maybe 93 or so. Everything that comes out now is a variation of something already there. Plus this car has been in design for a very long time. It does look alot like the s2k, but I still see an FD RX7 when looking at it head on or tail on.

Part of what makes the C-piller so large is the door. Or at least thats what it looks like from these pix.

Suicide doors..stolen from honda who stole from saturn who stole from lincoln in the 60\'s :)
