Radical and Controversial

What are some radical and controversial views that you have?

List them in this thread.

(This is a thread for people to list some of their controversial beliefs which may be offensive to others not to attack someone for their beliefs. If you disagree with someone take it up with them in a PM or start another thread called "Controversial Belief Disagreements" or something)

BTW, When you list some of your ideas, try to put up a little information whay you feel that way. Don\'t just say that you think "Humans evolved from aquatic apes" without giving us a little background.

My list:

- I think that AIDS was a man made disease. I think it was made to kill off different parts of society(Gays, etc.).

- I think that there is a cure for AIDS and many other diseases but they are not being released because the money is in the treatment NOT the cure. I think that if you have the money and know the right people you can get one of those cures. (Magic Johnson comes to mind for some reason)

- I think OJ did it. Do I have to elaborate?

- I think that people are not born gay. I think their sexuality is a product of their upbringing.

- I believe that many of the things Greek and Roman societies are given credit for originated in Egyptian society. Things like different aspects of science and medicine.

- I think I have lost all respect that I had for you, and think you are an asshole, based on your beliefs.  Controversial, yes?  Sorry, not starting a new topic to say that.

- I think that the American government is the single worst government in the world.  We cause easily the most pain, suffering, and death around the world.

That a good start?  I may have more.

I think the US Government is totally corrupt.

I think that the world needs a strong ass-kicking to get it right.

I think Democracy sucks when you really can\'t say what you want.

I think too much care is taken for certain countries while other countries are neglected until they make themselves visible on the radar screen through terrorism aka Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan etc…

The world truly needs a dictator that will unite the world to one cause…

I think we pay too much in taxes, I do not want my tax money to be used by the military. If you got nukes, how many other weapons do you really need?????


I could go on... but hey, i better stop, better not bitch against the government... can\'t have too much expression or else the FBI/CIA/NSA will tag my ass and export me to that nice Cuban "Terrorist" resort for questioning.

This is no fun without debate. If we all start a thread disagreeing with a view, who knows how many will pop up.

That\'s strange.  I really thought I would disagree with what Clowd said.  And yet, I don\'t.  The closest is the overweight one, but in most cases I do agree, so, yeah.  Good job

I think we did have to drop the bomb. An invasion of Japan would have cost more lives that both of the bombs.

The bomb was dropped for 3 reasons.  

1.  Show Russia that they are ahead of them

2.  Prevent Russian invasion of Japan

3.  Wanted to use it after all the money that was spent on it.


Eisenhower agreed that Japan was already defeated.

I howly doubt finishing Japan off would cost 250,000 American lives,  its just like what they said back in Vietnam,  you don\'t go out there and fight they\'ll take us over.  Of course we know that is not true.

Even if we did need to bomb them, why do it twice?  It was done mainly to show Russia the power we had, and to send them a message.

We were, but I guarantee you that our government hated them more than the Germans.  We were allied, but we knew conflict was coming, and we did not like eachother at all.
