Yes, that was a great game.
"What a game" is all I said when Navarre was picked off with 1 second left. That game had everything, Krenzel running for his life on big plays, Clarett busting through holes and coming up with clutch plays, great stops, things like that.
Michigan totally outplayed Ohio State in the first half. If they could have simply gotten the ball into the end zone once, they win that game. Instead, 9-7 at halftime, and most of the 2nd half.
When Krenzel made that scramble on 3rd and 10 that got it to 4th and inches, I knew Michigan was doomed. Sure as shit, Clarett with the 25 yard catch, then they finish it off. Michigan battled, though. That last drive was great, and was probably was the gutsiest thing I\'ve seen in a while. 4th and 10, their own 20, bad snap...Navarre throws an 11 yard dart. Gamble\'s pass interference, and then having the ball at the 25 with 1 second left, and one chance...pure greatness.
Well, as far as the national title game goes...if Miami makes it, I either don\'t watch it or root for Miami. If Miami does in fact lose, and Oklahoma makes it (which is a possibility), then I root for Oklahoma. Iowa should be #4 or #3 in the polls, and if OU were to lose to Colorado, and Miami were to lose to Syracuse or Va Tech...Iowa vs. Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl!
