Even more pathetic, a grown man who doesn\'t think before he talks.  Most of the rioters weren\'t even students of OSU.

And I think that right now, there is absolutely no question that Miami is the best team in the nation.  I\'m not trying to argue that.  I do think that they can be beaten though, and I think Ohio St. is a team that could do that.  I also think that Iowa is better than Oklahoma, might be better than OSU, and have the best chance to beat Miami.  Too bad the BCS hates them.

Oregon\'s lost 3 or 4 games at home this year. Arizona State passed for 540 yards on them, Washington scored 42 on them, which was just flat-out sad. Then again, Washington is a team on fire right now. Whoever faces them in a bowl - probably going to get the shit beat out of them.

Arizona State folded at the end of the year. Got beat down by California after losing to Washington State (Sorry Cory). Arizona State ALSO lost by 38 to, of all teams, Nebraska. Granted, it was the beginning of the year, but it still happened.

I really don\'t know why we\'re talking about Washington State -- they\'re out of the picture, Gesser is gone, and they\'re #9 in the polls. They\'re a good team, but they blew it, too.

Ohio State has absolutely no chance against Miami. They match up pretty well, but Clarett would HAVE to be healthy to be a factor, and he would have to be a factor. Miami isn\'t going to give up 4th and 2\'s late in the game with 40 yard TD passes, simply not going to happen. Miami has faced some stiff competition, Pittsburg being the best team they\'ve played so far, in my opinion, simply because Pittsburg didn\'t create a lot of turnovers, they simply played WITH Miami, and not many teams can say that this year.

As for Stregnth of Schedule, how the hell can you blame Miami for this? These schedules are determined 5 to 7 years in advance. When you have Virginia Tech, Florida, Tennessee, and Florida State on your schedule, you have to assume that those powerhouses are still going to be good. As for Ohio State\'s stregnth of schedule, it blows. They play in a weak conference, where everybody knocks each other off, anyway. Granted, they played Michigan and Washington State at home, but come on, at home! Play a high quality team on the road! I can garuntee that without that huge fanbase, they\'re in a lot of trouble. They\'re just like Nebraska, basically -- they\'re a completely different team at home rather than on the road.

As for this rushing the field business, it\'s all good fun...until somebody gets hurt. Last Saturday, we had 6 incidents of people getting hurt by tearing down the goalposts. It\'s fine when you do it after a really big win, but come on, Cal tears them down after beating lowly STANFORD? Clemson does it against a crumbling South Carolina? Come on.

That\'s the end of that rant, Go Huskers this Friday. Nyah.

What do Kerry Wood, Mark Prior, Matt Clement, and Carlos Zambrano have in common?

They\'re the pieces to the next great pitching rotation of our time, what else?

Ahh, gotta hate it.

Nebraska loses 28-13 to the Buffs. Fire 3 assistants, one who had been with the program since 1973, and Solich Steps down as the Offensive Coordinator.

And the BCS...god.
1. Miami
2. Ohio State
3. Georgia
4. USC
5. Iowa

What the hell is up with that? Gotta love that BCS, pissing people off since 1998.

Iowa should be #3.  No question.  How the hell is USC, a two loss team, ahead of them?  It\'s bullshit, plain and simple.

But do you not think that Iowa looked equally impressive?  I think they could beat Miami, and yet there is a two loss team ahead of them :(

Idiocy. The hottest team as of right now is Kansas State. After their 17-14 loss to Texas in overtime, they\'ve beaten Iowa State by 51, Nebraska by 36, and Kansas by 64.

That, and they BEAT USC during the regular season. Their only losses were at the time to #3 Texas and #12 Colorado.

Tony, Jinxx knows nothing of football. He only gets his jollies by rubbing it into Husker fans that they had a bad season. Has absolutely no clue as to what he\'s talking about.

Anyway, Go Hokies. Beat those Canes!
