Did you guys notice that they put a fly on some of the movie scenes to mimic what was on the tape?

Also I believe it was the scene transition after the horse broke loose on the ferry that they showed a ring flash very quickly.

I have to say that this is one of the most profoundly scary movies I have ever seen.

It was truly chilling.

Does it now mean that Samara is walking around in real life? Like, she came outta the TV at the end and ran off. Is there a sequal?

Also, why was the tape made???

I just got back from the movie. My GF is plain freaked out, and I had to take her home. I kinda feel sorry for her, she was really scared.

The movie was great. Lotsa disturbing pictres that youll remember just before you go to sleep at night. What got me was when the girl came outta the TV! :sconf: The Ring has got to be one of the best movies Ive seen.

To me when the girl came out of the TV it was totally predictable.  I could tell what was coming next and it didn\'t scare me.

I agree, but as she was coming forward, it was creepy man, that weird walk! :eek: Also, when she sorta "teleported" closer to the husband and he got knocked down, that was a scare..

And Racer, I think there are sequels to the original Japanese movie.. Hopefully they will pick up the sequels and make them English. :) Just search for The Ring on Yahoo and a few sites should pop up.

A sequel to this movie wouldnt seem very interesting. They should just keep it as is.
BTW I dont think when she came out o the TV she stayed out, thats just how she killed people. Like in the beginning of the movie. Creepy stuff. The person who wrote this movie is a very technical, disturbed person.
