Adan is one of the most respectable members of this board, IMO.  Therefore when he asked for peeps to send him coins from around the world, I started to collect coins I thought were interesting, and probably hard to get in Spain.(I work in the business)

so Adan, here is your present: An 1869 U.S. 2 1/2 dollar Gold coin.

I am sending your package this week, which includes many nice coins. Merry X-mas, guy. (actual scan of coin...)

Send Adan a coin or two, guys. It doesn\'t take much money or effort.

yeah, only Canadian money here..... we do have some special quarters tho.  Last year they had people design their own quarter and they picked the best 12 and released one each month.


BTW, did i mention that i collect american 100 dollar bills?:p

Well, first of all, sorry for not replying sonner. I was watching the tv.

Chizzy, you don\'t really know how I appreciate your spent time looking for coins. That one is absolutely awesome, great! I\'ve never heard about a 2 1/2 dollar coin, but this coin seems to be one of the nicest gold coins of the history.

I don\'t have words to thank you this present: Thank you very much.

I asked for coins, only a couple of guys sent (They know who they\'re) but this shipping may be the most memorable souvenir of this great place I discovered almost 3 years ago, and the best present of this Christmas for sure.

Chizzy, I must thank you again. Tell when the packet is sent and take care of it (if you have to pay the taxes, I\'ll pay them).

Actually, now that I think about this, I have a bunch of random coins form several countries around the world.  Once I sort through them, I\'ll tell you what I have Adan, if you want any.

I don\'t know what the coins are, but there are the countries I have coins from:

Spain (I think I\'ll keep these :))
Costa Rica
Italy
Denmark
The Dominican Republic
The Neatherlands
Yugoslavia
France
England
India
A ton of coins from Asian nations that I can\'t read
USA: things like Susan B Anthony coins and such that are a bit rarer
Some other nations I can\'t identify.

If there are any nations on that list you don\'t think you\'d need coins from, you can tell me, to save me some postage, but otherwise, the rest are yours, if you want them.  Probably not much compared to Chizzy\'s gift, but it\'s something :)
