Personally, I think the FX is a big disappointment.  I wasn\'t expecting an  8500 --> 9700 pro leap, but I was expecting it to be better in every benchmark.  At least something to justify the price difference.  They had far too long to work on it to let it be where it\'s at right now.

Why pay $100 more for a few more FPS (sometimes not even 1!) but far worse AA and AF performance?  Arguably better drivers?  Please.  ATI and nVidia drivers are on par nowadays... the only compatibility problems are because developers don\'t fully support ATI, not because ATI "has bad drivers".  

Hopefully some things will change now and developers will start making sure ATI and nVidia are supported equally.
