Im looking for a good proggie to rip mpeg,mpg, avi files to VCD/SVCD format. Any help would be appreciated.

need to convert those downloaded DIVX so they can play in yer DVD player, eh?


TMPGEnc is what you need
look on http://www.vcdhelp.com on guide to do it

yea.. Smartripper to rip dvds, DVD2AVI to frameserv, TMPGenc to code mpeg. Nero to make SVCD. err i\'ve said to much.

If the file is already MPEG. just use nero as a VCD maker.. It should recode teh MPEG for u if it needs to and it\'ll make the VCD no probs.
