how come no talk of tony hawks pro skater 4??

just bought it today, when  i first loaded it up, and saw the games characters, i thought. ehhh they look terrible, but the more i play the better the graphics seem, more animations.

the boards get more and more scapped as u play, so after a while u cant see ur designs, im sure the knees on the jeans started to go aswell


its totally different from thps3, you have a freeride, then go up to peep and they ask u to do stuff, kinda like the extreme inlines that was released by acclaim i think...

the levels are massive

you dont have to complete it 20 tims this time, with each character, there are 16 thingsd to do on level, and after you have done all 190, you can do pro challenges, which gets the vids... you get money for doing stuff, so u can buy new clothes, decks, cheats, characters, and 2 levels


games soooo huge, and excellnt, must play it more, if u wanna know more just ask

one thing i dont like, the music isnt as good, to much hip-hop, but poor hip hop

I was going to get this or Contra SS, and Contra SS won out, so I\'ll probably buy THPS4 in a week or two after I get finished Christmas shopping for everybody else.

Yeah, I had a go on the xbox *shudders version today and was pretty impressed. I was skating round and started talking to this guy, he gave me a challenge of beating a certain score in a time limit, massive level too, it was really good.

I think many people have overlooked this because they think it will be very similar to THPS3. I think I\'m gonna get it when I have some cash, these Hawk games are addictive!

BTW, it scored a 9.5 at Gamespot.

yeah, i know, thatsthe prob, everyone thinks there just gonna do the same, but hats off to them, they have really changed the game alot


also new manual tricks, press up down, then double tap a button, and they do a trick

Highest combo as yet kopking?

dunno, cos like when u beat a 2 a high score, the points go away, i guess when u play it in single run, you can see your end scores, and combos etc, i only just got it today, on about 5th level.... having a blast, only a few that i aint done yet ( i mean missions)

I got the game and I made Yao Ming. He looks sorta like him except a little smaller. I beat all the levels (except the 2 buyable levels.) I bought the carnival a vid and a cheat. Some people are amazing at that game. When I play online some people score over 1 million points without cheats (I think) one guy got over 7 million on one point. After playing with people online i relize how much I suck.

I own everyone (1,2,3,4) (1,2,3 for 64 &psx and 4 for ps2). I am a real skater, not some poser just playing the game.

It is a very overlooked game. One of my favorites by any chance

it\'s 21 on each level plus pro challenge.And this game is way harder than 3.But I like a challenge.I\'m still battling for the 500000 combo  

yeah, me a sketer also, and i think they have made te objectives etc more realistic, like when u seeing if ur mate can do this and that etc, man soooo good, done all levels, only a few things to do, tried a couple of pro missions, bams is a bitch, as is jamies, bob burnquists, seemed east though, though only got on level 3 of that

yeah I bought this game for the box on the release date.  I was always a fan of THPS because of being a skater myself.  I just wish they made more realistic style tricks but It\'s fine the way it is.  I loved how its just like free ride, you can just cruise around doing sweet tricks then if you get bored talk to someone.  I just got all 190 goals two days ago (was busy playing Mech Assault and NHL 2K3 on Live) and I didnt get anything for it.  I am 7000$ dollars away from all the cash then I can buy the girl in the shop.  But anyways, love THPS, just think it should be Rodney Mullen Pro Freestyler or something lol

Id say the hardest thing was Rune Glifburgs, not only do you have to liptrick the cellblock roof you have to liptrick on the guy holding a sign, and to get there you have to liptrick on the coping, ollie, then do a special lip on a small guy, its hard!

well ive done a few of the pro challenges, some like muskas are sooo easy

ellissa steamers is easy, but its soooo hard to even know where u are meant to be going. spent most of my time trying to find where i was meant to be going.....

not really tried lots of them, sme are quite hard, but i know i can do them, but keep messing up, the more i play the more im stressed, done about 1/2 pro challeges, but not tried to many or the hard challeges, man the spell combo tricks can be a bitch
