I\'m going to Man Utd Vs Deportivo tomorrow night, should be a cracking game, Becks is back in the team too. I went to both home games against them last year, won one, lost one, hopefully we can win tomorrow, and if we\'re as up for it as we have been recently, it shouldnt be a problem

Which seems to be most of the time at the moment!!

ooseven, did you mean that for me or heat, cos u quoted me!! I was born in manchester and live just outside, I tend to go to most games, but havent been able to afford it this season. Was a really good one tonight, I\'m very happy with how we\'re playing at the moment. That loss to city gave us a needed kick up the arse. van Nistelrooy is god, good to see Veron playing a lot better now too.

Rumor of the day - Shevchenko to Man Utd in the summer :D

It\'s Terryble
By MICHAEL MORGAN from the sun

Leeds 1 Malaga 2
(Malaga win 2-1 on agg)

TERRY VENABLES came within inches of being attacked by an angry yob last night.

And as Elland Road turned into a war zone, Lee Bowyer appeared to stamp on the HEAD of Malaga\'s Gerardo and Michael Bridges was carried off with an injury which threatens to keep him out for a year.

Leeds crashed out of the UEFA Cup after this third-round, second-leg defeat to the Spaniards, heaping even more pressure on Venables.

The United boss was targeted by a thug just seven minutes into the game, with the yob jumping out of the crowd to lunge at him.

But before he could grab Ell Tel, the fan was intercepted by stewards and arrested by police.

Venables said: "I saw him out of the corner of my eye but the stewards held him back. I didn\'t really take much notice because I was too busy watching what was happening on the pitch."

Bowyer\'s moment of madness - which could see him facing a ban once UEFA have looked at video evidence - came in the 16th minute.

The volatile England star felled Gerardo with a rash challenge from behind and then, as the midfielder lay on the floor, Bowyer appeared to stamp on the side of his head.

Furious Malaga players surrounded Bowyer, while their coach Joaquin Peiro and his substitutes jumped out of the dugout to vent their anger at him.

But Swiss referee Massimo Busacca let Bowyer off with just a caution.

Venables insisted: "I got a good view of the incident and, although it looked like Lee wanted to stamp on him, I don\'t think he actually did.

ALL OVER ... Michael Bridges is in agony after Achilles injury

"In my opinion, their player was acting."

But TV pundit Pat Nevin, the former Chelsea and Scotland star, said: "He could be jailed if he carries on the way he is going.

"It was an absolute disgrace. You can\'t get away with that sort of thing. There is no place for that in football."

Goals either side of half-time from Julio Cesar Dely Valdes sent Malaga soaring into the last 16.

Eirik Bakke had equalised for Leeds in the 23rd minute.

Venables admitted: "It\'s very disappointing to go out of this competition because I felt that for a lot of the game we showed exactly the kind of spirit I am looking for.

"But, in the last 25 minutes, we went a bit flat and they picked their game up. There\'s no question Malaga are a good side, but I was pleased with much of what we produced."

To make matters worse for Venables and his side, Bridges ruptured his Achilles and looks set to be out for a year - or even for good.

The former England Under-21 striker, a £5million capture from Sunderland three years ago, has spent two years on the sidelines with injuries, returning to the side only two months ago.

Venables declared: "It looks bad and I am absolutely heart-broken for the kid.

"He has worked so hard to get back after being out for two years and now this has come as a devastating blow for him.

"He said he heard something snap and we will just have to wait and see how bad it is."

David Walker, Leeds\' director of PR and corporate affairs, later confirmed: "The fan was arrested and will be charged with encroaching on the playing area, which is an automatic public order offence."
