Warcraft 3 is officially gay

ok, so ive played the shit out of this game online... and im done. lets just leave out the completely INSANE amount of retarded shit talking that goes on in there... by far the most reatrded and pointless shit talking ive ever seen goes on in warcraft 3. 12 year old kids calling everyone a "newb" cause you dont do what they tell you. i seriously spend half the time watching my own teamates call each other names for one stupid reason or another.

i played enough to get up in the levels, and now i see just what it takes to get up in the levels... you have to play like a girl.


i just played a 4 on 4 game that lasted an hour of nothing but everybody building 9,000 towers... then building a few troops and gaurding the towers.

it was the most boring hour of gaming ive ever had and eventually i just apologized to everyone and quit.

do any of you even bother to play this game online anymore? the single player game is frickin great... one of the best. but after spending countless hours with the multiplayer mode i just cant take anymore.

I stopped playing WC3 online about a couple months after I bought the game.  Mainly because I couldn\'t catch any of the other forum members who had it online.  The stuff you mentioned didn\'t help, either.  I wasn\'t able to get any better in the game fast enough to compete with those people that played 24/7 (which seemed like almost everyone).

The only way I ever play online again is if we have some closed, PSX2Central only games and actually schedule times to play them.

I haven\'t been playing it much lately.  There\'s a lot of stupid people on bnet too.  But mainly the cpu is so insanely difficult that it just wasn\'t much fun for me anymore.

All they would do is build f\'n long range units and focus fire.  That\'s not strategy that\'s mouse tag and it sucks.

Got caught up in NFL Fever and work and some other crap so that\'s why I haven\'t been online.  I know you could catch at least 2 of us online at any given time.

U dont play WC3 4v4 against random peeps.
WC3 dont suck online, it only sucks if u choose the wrong way to play it. If u belive u can teamplay with a bunch of kids u dont know at all, forget it.
I play WC3 only 1v1 or 2v2 with a teammate I know... never ever in the whole universe and some more do I even consider playing with a random guy.
And about long range units and focus fire, well... that is tactic... and thats what makes this game great, u have to CONTROL your units, not just send em on and think they will do something inteligent without being controlled. The strategy isnt to build up an army, but how to controll it... that is the main reason for win or loss. And thats why this game require more skill then for example Age of Empire or C&C.

Reminds alot of what happened to the StarCraft community.  Everyone just got really impatient, started hacking, cursing each other off, it was horrible.

I played it a little last month and it was still the same.  Sorry to hear that WC3 suffers from the same fate.  

It is an exellent online game. It wasn\'t that way during the summer while I was playing.  Times change, just like SC did.
