I think he should make a speech. Something along the lines of...

"Yeah, if it wasn\'t for that absolutely great trade with Luckee, nixing a crap trade I accidentally accepted, and not doing the same for other people, I wouldn\'t even be here accepting this imaginary award created by Jamas\' imagination"

See Yuz.
What do Kerry Wood, Mark Prior, Matt Clement, and Carlos Zambrano have in common?

They\'re the pieces to the next great pitching rotation of our time, what else?

GO CUBS!

How about this for a speech;
"If anyone else would have won the championship, people would have still been bitching about how they were somehow screwed over.  Shockwaves had a trade with luckee but no one complained about it because he didn\'t make it to the playoffs.  As for my trade with luckee, no one held a gun to his head and made him accept it.  Finally, I would like to thank the people in the league who take this game far too seriously, and constantly made this league a pain in the ass with their constant complaining.  From the bottom of my heart, thank you."  ;)

No one complained about my trade with luckee because it was insignificant.  I won\'t be keeping the player I traded for, and the player I traded for became my fourth string WR.  You traded for two of the best players out there.  If I were commish, I\'d say that it would only be fair if you couldn\'t keep either...but then again, you\'re commish, so fat chance that happens.

And if you can\'t take the complaining, I\'d gladly commish this league next year.  Personally, I happen to like complaining :)

Come on New England... they\'ve finally got Pennington shut down, and gotta be en route to a touchdown now.

Sigh, I may have Jets fans on my side, but I am no way rooting for the Jets.  The Packers better come through big.

Next Week - Needs - Dolphins over Pats, *sigh* Cardinals over Broncos (GO JAKE THE SNAKE!), Jags over Colts, and of course, Chiefs over Raiders.

Give or Take - Jets and Packers...Jets could win, would only cement the fact that the Pats are out. Chiefs own the tiebreaker against both the Fins and the Jets, but don\'t have it against the Patriots....GO DOLPHINS!

But of course, for all of this to materialize, Priest Holmes needs to be healthy. Sadly, the Chiefs need the Cardinals to beat the Broncos...the Chiefs would lose the tiebreaker to the Colts simply because of the 3rd Tiebreaker - record against common teams. Even if the Colts lose, they\'ll have a 3-2 record against the Broncos, Browns, Dolphins, and the Jags twice. The Chiefs have a 2-3 record against those 4 teams (Broncos twice), so they\'d lose the tiebreaker.

God...the entire season basically rests on 3 games. It wouldn\'t hurt if the Falcons beat the Browns, just to get their keniving asses out of there :-P

heh, cool.

On another note, I\'m in position to win the two leagues that really mattered to me (aka the ones I had money on).  I need 4 points from Tampa\'s D to win in one, and 2 points from Keyshawn in the other.

Very sweet.

One rule that definitely has to be made next year is absolutely no trades with any team who has been inactive for more than 2 weeks.

Hopefully next year we won\'t have any inactive teams though so it won\'t matter.
