Its all theory.  But I watched something on Discovery about them last night and they had almost completly changed their thoughts on what \'black holes\' (they are called that because their black; you cant see them and they supposedly attract matter=hole) are.

They should just send a rocket to one and see what happens. I personally don\'t see how there can be a blackhole. How are things sucked in? Anyway, I should do a bit of research before I say what I believe.

Ditto what he said. The same is said as far as light, hence the term "black hole" :)

I wonder what happens to items sucked into the whole and essentially wouldnt that mean the universe is constantly getting smaller and smaller and cease to exist one day?
