IGN says the PS2 version is crap.  It got a 4.0.
Lisa: \"They must of programed it to eliminate the competition!\"
Bart: \"You mean like Microsoft?\"

And, IMO, The XBox version is just as crap.  It\'s only for those with extreme patience, or online play.

Check out SOCOM.

I thought the xbox version was good.  Just completed it yesterday.  I can\'t compare it to the PC, as I\'ve not played it on a PC but one of my mates said it was pretty much the same except you only control 2 groups of 3 rather than 3 groups of 2.

the PC version is CRAP

if you want something better wait for Splinter Cell or get the x box version if you got one (a X box that is).

or Get Sum of All Fears (PC)

I just didn\'t like the style of extreme realism.

I mean, take the first mission.  It drops you in the middle of a jungle (for all intents and purposes).  You have to walk VERY slowly, and look at virtually every god damn tree, otherwise the badguys will see you and kill you.  And even if you DO play the game that way, 9 times out of 10, the enemy will still see you first.

The more you play the game, the more you get used to it.  I found I could run about in certain areas, but would have to be more careful if I came across a house etc.

By the time I had completed the first 2 levels I was running around killing the entire enemy without an injury.  I did have to use the quicksave quit allot.

Perhaps I will give it a try again when XBox Live! is released in my region.  But Just judging from the first couple of missions, that play mechanic was seriously flawwed.

I would defiantly recommend trying it again. It is a really good game once you get into it.

To avoid getting your men shot, if you hear any shots getting fired at you, lie down as quickly as you can because once you lie down all your team lie down (as long as the enemy is a reasonable distance away, they will not be able to hit you).

If you are having trouble seeing where the shots are coming from look at your team mates, they\'ll be firing in the direction you want to look.
