Some questions about the rights of overweight people
« on: December 16, 2002, 02:41:23 PM »
1.  Do you think it is OK for them to sue McDonald\'s because they say McDonalds didnt warn them that their food contained high levels of fat?

2.  Do you think it is OK for airlines to charge them for 2 seats if they take up 2 seats?

I say yes to both these questions

no, yes.

Who the hell doesn\'t know that red meat, cheese, mayo, and about four quarts of greese (sp) is bad for you.

McDonalds posts their nutrition facts.  If you care enough to sue, you should care enough to look at the nutrition facts.

The airplane thing is fair though.  If you use 2 seats, you pay for two.

If they eat macdonalds all day, every day, they get all they deserve. It\'s their own fault they weigh 300 pounds.

If they need 2 seats they should rightly pay for two.

I\'m fully in favor of having several fat people on any flight I am on.  That way, if we crash in the Andes, I\'ll have someone to eat.  :)

heredity has a part to do with it, but if ur fat is excess then its ur fault. and my answers to the questions are no and yes. Like people above said, if u take up 2 seats then you pay for them. And if you take up 1 and a half, then you pay for 2 because id hate to be the person squished to the window.
