I don\'t remember exactly cause I\'m all drugged up right now.  I just remember sitting in the movie while some people laughed and I was like, .........ok.

I\'m just upset, as Boromir was my favorite character in the first one.  :)

Gandalf is one of the Istari, an order of the Maiar, angelic beings created by Eru with somewhat less power than the godlike Valar.

Boromir was merely a man.

True, Borimir was a great character, but I was just pointing out why Gandalf survived and Borimir didn\'t.  Having read the books like a lot of others I already know what happens, but its really fun to see how Peter Jackson puts it on film.  I think I was more surprised by your post in which you implied that Gandalf should have died as well.  Maybe you were being sarcastic... ;)

Great movie, but I still don\'t understand WTF Bozco is talkin\' about. Gollum was the best CGI character ever.

Some awards should go out to the developers of Gollum.

Gollum was amazing. I could actually see and feel the pain and misery he was in. I can\'t wait to see what he does in Two Towers.

Spoiler for those who haven\'t seen TT [sp]I love how the trees/Ents come in and completely dominate. I was expecting them to get slaughtered typical crazy last act of bravery stlye but they totally wooped ass. I don\'t think one of them died. They definitely asserted themselves as powerful beings. [/sp]
Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.

 Finally saw the movie last night! It was f\'n amazing. I was disappointed it ended there, man I wanted more. I was thinking please please please don\'t end. Since the book went further than the movie, I was hoping at least it went up to where the book went. Anyway, can\'t wait till next year! Damn, that\'s gonna be a long time. :(

Indeed... Given that Peter Jackson announced Return of the King to be his favourite of the three... Can not wait!

Who\'s the king that is returning? I\'ve only read the Two Towers. I wasn\'t that big of a LOTRs fan up until I rented the Fellowship DVD.
