Laptop /PC owners...

To those of you who own a Laptop and a PC, which one do you use the most? I have an iMac and currently thinkin\' about buying an iBook. But at the same time, I kind of want one of the new iMac\'s. So my question is, how much do you enjoy your laptop and which would you most likely get, if you had the choice?

For me, the two work off one another.  I have a home network so the laptop is my PC away from my PC.  I go to school for extended periods of time and write all my reviews\\previews when I have free time and get them submitted and up on the net with the home PC.  It sure as hell beats writing them free hand and retyping them.  Lets just say that if you have a lot of free time away from home, but can\'t go home, or if you like to get away from all distractions and go some place else, having a laptop is a good idea.

If you drive yourself, are always at home and never have free time away from home, then it\'s pointless to have a laptop if you have a desktop.

I have both.  I use my laptop at work to get around IT monitoring my internet usage, but I also use it take stuff home and work on as well.  Its also great when I go out of town for either business or a vacation, though I still use my desktop quite a bit more.  I have a Dell laptop (P3 14 inch screen, 32MB Nvidia Go - basically its classified as a desktop replacement) and I think the screen has gotten dimmer or its just the difference between the LCD screen and my CRT monitor that is screwing up my eye sight.

Comes down to what you\'re planning to do on the lappy.

I\'ve got a ThinkPad but I want an iBook...and I\'d kill for a PowerBook. Small light and long battery life coupled with an incredible OS. And does everything a laptop needs to do. So if I were you I\'d go for the iBook and get a more powerful machine as a desktop.

I have a PC and a laptop. I personally use more the old PC because all the programs and footage I\'ve in the HDD. I use the laptop for schoolwork mainly.

I just bought a toshiba laptop and so far I\'ve been useing it way more than my desktop.( could be because of the newness). Also it\'s alot more powerful than the desktop. Hooked up a wireless router to access the net anywhere in the house or outside by the pool. I just wish I knew more about networking, still haven\'t figuered out how to get the printer to work wireless. Anyhoo, I like the freedom the laptop allows.
