im buyed myself a little X-mas present and bought Silent hill 2 , im just 1 hour in the game and im in the apartements and its really really freak ( even more with suround sound ) and id like to know what you guys though . Is it just me or this game is really well doen and freaky ?

thanks guys !

ps : the endings are they really really différent ?

It gets freakier/better about half way through.

Good game, not as good as the first though, IMO.

ya well i have been reading the top 10 ps2 games on the board and lots of people seams to have it in the top 10 but its weird , i hear lots people say its better then the first and alot say its not as good . anyway i LOVED the first

:o  Unfortunately, I\'ve never played the 1st SH.
I thought SH2 was pretty good though. The story
and atmosphere is superb. Gameplay is indeed
not very innovative, very linear ol\'adventure stuff.
But it\'s in no way a \'harm\' to the game. Also the
way you control James, is better imo than RE.
Wished there\'d be more sorts of monsters though....

seams like not many of you played it ... anyway i must say i am enjoying it and that i can\'t wait to play silent hill 3 !! DID YOU GUYS SEE THE GRAPHICS ? AND ITS REAL TIME !! UNREAL ! NO CG !!!

Very good atmospheric game.

I went through the game 5 or 6 times, some times with a firend.

Now I await the 3rd SH game.

the Game is Superb

Miss Money Penny Got me it Last Christmas and i still play it.

the Endings are Different plus there are some bonuses to unlock

(extra Weapons)


plus the Mysterious DOG ending


my only gripe about the game is that it could of been a little more polished (with the game menus and combat) but other thatn that this is a AAA IMO.

the first one was superb right up to the swears then it went tits up IMO.

best parts of Silent Hill


School + Alt
Hospital + Alt

the Start was far better in SH1 what with the darkness slowly closing in around you as you run down the alley.

ya well im about 2 hours in the game right now and i like it a bit more then Silent hill one !

ofcourse the hospital in the first scared me to hell and i hope there is also an hospital in that one :)
