Need CD writer info

I\'m looking into getting a new CDR/RW. My old writer is in a better place right now, my garbage bin.  Now i\'m after a writer that supports RAW DAO and SubCode extractions..
What Roms support these features?

I know there\'s philip roms that do. but they\'re slow..

Right now i\'m looking at getting Sony CRX210E1 INT 48x 12x 48x
Review/details here This will cost me no more then 54usd.

The CyberDrive CW088D IDE CD-RW looks good too..

hmmm.  I\'d have to read reviews and tests on burners.. If i was gonna get a burner it would be a TDK or Plexor burner. but i\'m on a budget.. Don\'t have much experience with LG. Can\'t imagine they\'d be much better then sonys. Lite-on i\'ve heard suck (but not sure on that) Yahama have good roms.

Right now the The CyberDrive CW088D IDE CD-RW is looking good.
I don\'t order anything online.. can\'t get much better then wholesale prices.. why bother ordering online...

The Plexor PleXWriter PX-W4824A IDE CDR-W looks REAL nice.. May get that. Hopefully it\'ll be under 200usd.

Plextor, Lite-On, TDK and most writers on the market are all based on Sanyo units. LG, Yamah, Sony and Ricoh are some of the few that make their burners from the ground up.

Plexor used to be the way to go, although many companys are now making burners on the same level and some even better than plexor. I personally have a Plexor 40x12x48x burner but I can tell you LG and Yamaha are excellent burners. Lite-on now matter what anyone says are great burners, there cheap and have all the features and quality of the plexor or LG. TDK burners are good excellent, what they have going for them that is special is looks.

Here is the best link for info on CD-burners a dedicated website and community on it. Opss I have to find the link BE BACK!

Could this be it:
http://www.vcdhelp.com/cdwriters

I\'ll also vouch for Plextor.  Out of all the hundreds of CDRs I\'ve burned on my Plex 8/4/32, I only got 2 coasters from underrun.  One because my bro foolishly decided to export a project in Premiere while burning, the other was a freak accident that to this day I have no explanation for whatsoever.  It totally freaked me out!!!!!  AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
